Built by practitioners. Not theorists.
Trainstorm is led by a practitioner with enterprise-level engagements across pharma, financial services, and research institutions — and supported by a network of specialists who share the same belief about what AI should do for organizations.
The founder.
Trainstorm's methodology, architecture, and point of view originate here.
Jake
Founder & Principal
Cognitive Systems Designer
Trainstorm exists because most organizations treat AI as a toolset when it is actually an opportunity to redesign how the organization itself thinks. Jake has spent his career at the intersection of learning science, organizational behavior, and emerging technology — and arrived at AI not as a trend to adopt, but as the natural endpoint of everything instructional design has always been trying to do.
His work sits at a level most learning professionals never reach: not building courses, but designing the cognitive infrastructure that makes capability permanent — simulation engines, rehearsal systems, organizational memory architecture, and the governance models that let LD professionals operate as first-class AI stakeholders rather than consumers waiting for IT to provision something.
Trainstorm's methodology was forged in active enterprise engagements, not conceived in a lab. The thinking that enters a client environment originates here. What clients receive is a finished architecture — grounded in real organizational friction, tested against real performance gaps, and designed to outlast the engagement that produced it.
Sector experience
The people we bring in.
Trainstorm is not a staffing model. When specialist depth is needed, we draw from a trusted network of practitioners — each with their own enterprise track record — who collaborate under the Trainstorm design framework.

Trainstorm collaborates with senior practitioners who bring enterprise credibility and share a belief that AI should make organizations fundamentally more capable — not just more efficient.
The model behind the team.
Trainstorm does not carry tools from client to client. It carries methodology, pattern recognition, and the accumulated intelligence of designing cognitive infrastructure across real enterprise environments. What we leave behind in every engagement is a system the organization now owns — and a capability the people in it have actually developed.
— Trainstorm design philosophyStart anywhere. Build toward the whole system.
Whether the first need is learning, change readiness, or initiative intelligence, each engagement can become a coherent step toward a more intelligent organization.
